Funny Powerpoint Presentations - Interesting PPT

Microsoft PowerPoint is a powerful presentation tool that few people know how to effectively use. Pose the question of what is Microsoft PowerPointto most people and you'll get a predictably factual answer about its use in producing slide shows for meetings and so forth. But they're missing its fundamental purpose - to dynamically communicate ideas and information to a large number of people.

Therein lies the problem. As the corporate world is an incomprehensible labyrinth of bureaucracy, meaningless buzzwords, and blatant deception, effective communication is antithetical to its very existence. That's why PowerPoint presentations are infamously painful to endure - they mirror the corporate culture that produces them.One interesting thing about bad presentations is that, as long as you're not attending them, they can actually be a source of unintentional comedy! That is, of course, if you like the "so-bad-it's-good" type of humor. Some slides shown in a presentation by consultant Alexei Kapterev, which is actually called, "Death by Powerpoint" makes some helpful points about making a decent slideshow by contrasting certain principles with some of the most insane slides ever created. As Mr. Kapterev explains, it makes no difference whether you understand the language or not. It goes without saying that a slide like this has no meaning in any language. Check out the arrows that point in every direction, including at each other. Note the exquisitely jarring selection of clipart, the wall of text on the left, and the lovely color scheme.

I'm no presentation consultant, but I think anyone other than the originator of this slide can see the futility in trying to comprehend it, let alone retain any of it. The intricacy reminiscent of M.C. Escher creates doubt of its authenticity. I mean, someone deliberately made this slide in an attempt to satirize bad PowerPoint presentations, right? But then, no one could do this good a job of it.
